The street names on Ringön, all of which relate to the mining industry, were established in the 1950s as a directive to change how the district was supposed to function and be used. Ringökanalen was filled and the street network as we know it came into being. The street names together with city council statements, industrial history grammar, layers of desire and love letters are the starting point for this installation.

Ingrid works installation-based with sculpture. She is interested in performative relationships between time, architecture (body) and language. The works take on structures that appear to be stable by highlighting what may have played out its role or appears to be unimportant. She is drawn to linguistically picking things apart and cross-reading fragments of the surroundings
